Right.. well I am currently doing a BA HONS in Applied Arts
(Ceramics, Glass and Metal)
Where I hope to specialize in Ceramics, with a hint of Glass. I love the application of two different mediums combined, it makes me all gooey inside! *And quite hard to achieve*
I love organic shapes and forms, from botanical to Gothic windows. I love the idea of decaying objects/fruits involed in my work, applying thick mediums to acheive this. Alot of my work dreives from pumpkins. One of the artists I look upo is Kate Malone with the crystaline glazes and AMAZING forms! (Also a fantastic hand builder).
I also have the most amazing friends and family in the world, (Sarah, Emma, Anthony and Lindsay) I know I should be writing this because it could jinx it. But we're like the glue, we do everything together pretty much. Although Uni is a little barrier, but we don't half make up for it when I am back! And everyone is in jobs, which is also difficult due to timing. And my parents Julie, and Kevin along with my Brother and Sister Jamie and Kelly.
We also have 2 pets, a dog called Dia, a Maltese crossed with a Bichon. AND Pedro, we think she's a she, because it doesn't like Women (hah). And it is now yelling commands to the dog.......

Well it's time for an update, and I feel I need to JOURNAL!
Settled nicely into my student house, drunk lots - good times! And lots more to come! hehehe :D

Started 2nd year properly today, and received the first assignment, which is a 2000 word essay.. joyus! :P

Well I have just finished Uni for the summer, and can't believe how fast it has gone.
It only seems yesterday that my parents were dropping me off at halls, and getting ready to go out to the freshers week, although our freshers week, ended up into two. (hardcore)
I think my assessments have gone pretty well, better than I expected and I will get the results in the start of june. My metal lecturer said that my work was 'tarty'.. meaning that it was all presented nicely.. and he said I didn't need it due to my drawings being drop anyway.. but I like being 'tarty' and basically ripped me in what I was wearing that day too, it was kinda funny
